What is the maximum occupancy?

30 is the maximum indoor occupancy. However, when outdoor weddings are hosted at VH the maximum occupancy is 50. In the event of inclement weather, the guest would need to pay additional for a tent from an outside tent vendor.

What is the clean up policy?

Guests are responsible for leaving the house as it was found. i.e. Any dishes, glassware etc. used during their event must be washed and put away prior to vacating the property. Trash is to be taken to the outdoor trash receptacles. However, we can provide a clean up service for an additional fee.

What amenities are included in the rental?  

We provide everything you will need to have a party with very little effort:  white ironstone dishware, glassware, champagne glasses, silverware, serving utensils, various sized platters and serving bowls, 2 and 3-tiered servers, cake stands, drink dispensers, juice carafes, punch bowls, Mr. Coffee, Keurig coffeemaker, large and small easels, freestanding chalkboards, paper towels, coffee filters, dish soap, drying towels etc. All you have to do is bring in your own food, drinks, bag of ice and napkins, and Vintage House is ready for you.

Is the outdoor space included with the rental?

Our beautiful garden courtyard, in conjunction with the indoor space, is included in the rental. Though the outdoor space is not guaranteed with inclement weather conditions.

Is alcohol allowed?

Alcohol is allowed at our venue.  

How large is the indoor entertaining area?

The main entertaining area consists of 3 rooms combined in an     shape with plenty of seating up to 30 total where all guests are able to view the guest of honor opening gifts.

May we bring in our own food?

Guests are welcome to bring in their own food and drinks. If catering is desired, we can offer suggestions.

Since this is a residential area, where do guests park?

vintage house is located next to a city parking lot with direct access to ample safe, lighted parking.

do we need to add decorations to the space?

Our space is Beautifully decorated with a vintage chic style, where spending additional money on decorations is not necessary.

is this space wheelchair accessible?

yes, our venue is wheelchair accessible.

can we use the outside area during winter months?

Propane heaters are available for outdoor use march through November only.

Absolutely loved this little cottage! It is so adorable and was so much fun setting up for our baby shower. You don’t need to bring any decorations or tableware. The house decor is amazing and there is every kind of dishware you could possibly need. Everyone that attended also fell in love with the house. Would definitely recommend!

LOVE NOTES

I wanted to have a graduation party, but I live out-of-state, and didn't want any of my relatives to have to use their own homes. This was the perfect solution - a ready-made venue with ample seating, and many comforts. The house itself is fascinating given it's long history, and it's decorated tastefully while still managing to display a unique flair.
If I have other events in the future, I'll book Vintage House, for sure.
